A new chapter for Hawkins Hatton
Hawkins Hatton is entering a new chapter as the firm continues to evolve and build for the future, while remaining firmly committed to the clients and relationships that have shaped it over more than two decades.
After more than 20 years leading the business, Colin Rodrigues will step back from day‑to‑day fee‑earning work and move into a new, part‑time Client Partner role from 1 May 2026. In this position, Colin will focus on what he is best known for - building trusted client relationships and supporting business development, ensuring continuity for clients as the firm continues to develop.
We are also pleased to confirm that Harminder Sandhu will join Colin in a client‑focused role, postponing her full retirement to continue supporting clients and introducers on a part‑time basis. Harminder’s ongoing involvement reflects the firm’s commitment to maintaining strong, long‑standing relationships and trusted points of contact.
The firm’s Corporate team will continue to grow and develop, supported by Stewart Knights, who recently joined Carbon as a Corporate Partner specialising in M&A. Stewart will take responsibility for leading transactions as the team builds further capability and capacity in this area.
Rhiannon Cambrook‑Woods, Managing Partner at Hawkins Hatton, commented:
“This is a positive and exciting step for Hawkins Hatton. Colin and Harminder have built exceptional relationships over many years, and their continued involvement ensures real continuity for our clients as we move forward. At the same time, strengthening our corporate capability allows us to keep investing in the areas where our clients need us most. We remain absolutely focused on delivering high‑quality, partner‑led advice, while building a firm that is well positioned for the future.”
Hawkins Hatton is proud that its founders remain closely involved in the business and committed to its future. Their continued presence ensures stability, reinforces client relationships and supports the next phase of the firm’s development, as Hawkins Hatton strengthens its offering while staying true to the values and approach that have always defined it.
